I just want to say: you say it was a selfish action and that taking away the ai art took away from the experience of the player. Well, let me tell you that it did no take away anything, in fact it is much, much better. The wallpapers, images and all that seem a lot more genuine, they feel more authentic and real. Especially the background picture at the login screen. It feels like someone's memory. So all in all, it made the experience much more genuine. It added a LOT

im so glad to see this-- i loved last seen online and honestly had no clue it had ai, but reading about you choosing to change that makes me so glad. the usage of ai art always leaves a sour taste in my mouth because it ignores the point of art; not the end product but the process. good on you for making this difficult decision, and honestly it looks great!! keep making art (of any kind cus i love your games too)

I loved what you said because you came more from the perspective of how it affected you and made you feel! I'd like to keep an open mind too, but no artificial intelligence in my games too, for now (:

I love the honesty you have with us as the viewer/player and with yourself. I play a lot of visual novels and I always find that I value the art in ones where the creator is still trying to find their style. AI is very controversial, I personally do what I can to not consume or contribute to projects using a lot of AI because it feels so impersonal. You are an amazing writer, and challenging yourself to redo such a major thing will make you a better creator. I can't wait to see where you go next!

Well, honestly, with the change of the art style this beautiful game became more personal in my eyes.

The fact that someone has so much passion and love for their work to the point of redoing everything to be truly proud of it injects a full dose of inspiration in me.

Also yay, my small crooked gif is mentioned here. (although only one frame)

Whether it's AI or not, I still see the soul behind it. That's the most important part of art for me.
